MEXICO HELD ITS 16th NATIONAL CONVENTION

From July the 26th to the 29th, the church of the Worldwide Missionary Movement in Mexico held its 16th National Convention. Mexican brethren accepted the invitation and enjoyed each service. The Word of the God was life changing. Delegations from Peru, Colombia and Chile joined this event. Rev. Álvaro Garavito, international board member, preached the Word of God in one of the services under the theme, “Raising up the Knees, Hands, and Eyes to the Heavens.” The preacher exhorted the audience by saying, “It’s time to wake up from the spiritual numbness that all believers go through.” Every service was a bigger blessing for the attendees and the presence of God was felt in the midst of His people. The international board member, Rev Luis Meza Bocanegra, based on Psalms 102:24-28 preached about the theme, "The Immutability of God." Ps Meza emphasized the transcendence of God and His power. He also spoke about the immutability of the promises, purposes and prophecies. To conclude his message, he made clear that “God is powerful, and not changing; the ones that need to be changed are human beings.” The fourth service of this Convention was led by the Mexican youth. Rev. Angel Huari was in charge of the Word of God. Based on Genesis 22:12, he preached a message titled, “Without Wilderness, There Is No Blessing.” Both, youth and adults were highly blessed. They understood the importance of crying unto the Lord in hard times since it is where faith is proven and it becomes clear who a child of God really is. In each service, the brethren were ministered during the praise and worship time, as well as during the Word of God. God spoke to people’s heart and said that the interest of every Christian should be to really know Him, avoid a religious life, and acquire the true knowledge of His Word, walking always in fear before Him. WIIR rejoices with this kind of events, which allow us to see what God wants to do with His people; that is why it is necessary to seek Him and be filled with His Holy Spirit.
